    Build the SOW from a proposal template, scope, deliverables, timeline, fees. Include a package picker if you're offering tiered engagements. The client reviews on a portal page that carries only your brand, accepts, and triggers the contract draft via automation (Pro).

    Contract auto-populates from the accepted proposal. Send for e-signature; both parties sign in their browser; everyone gets a PDF with the audit trail.

    For retainers, set up a recurring invoice (Pro) at the cadence you want: monthly or quarterly. For hourly engagements, track time against the project (Pro) and roll entries into invoices automatically.

FAQ

Does Scopivo handle retainer engagements?
Yes. Set up a recurring invoice (Pro feature) at the cadence you want: monthly, quarterly, or annually. Scopivo generates and sends the invoice on schedule; the client pays through your Stripe; the workflow automation closes the loop with a thank-you email. The retainer doesn't need to be redrawn each month.
What about engagements where I bill hourly against an estimate?
Track time against the project (Pro feature). Each entry has a date, duration, description, and rate. When you generate the invoice, Scopivo pulls the billable entries from the time period; you review, edit if needed, send.
Can I split a fixed-fee engagement into milestone payments?
Yes, via payment plans (Pro). When you create the invoice, define the installment schedule. For example: 25% deposit on contract sign, 25% on midpoint review, 50% on final delivery. Each installment generates its own payment link, and Scopivo tracks payment status per milestone.
How do I send the SOW for client signature?
Scopivo handles proposals and contracts as separate documents linked by the same engagement. The proposal is the commercial side (scope, deliverables, fees, terms); the contract is the legal side (jurisdiction, IP, confidentiality, indemnification). Accepting the proposal triggers a contract draft via automation; you finalize the contract and send for e-signature. Both parties sign in their browser; everyone gets a PDF.
Can I bill in different currencies for international clients?
Scopivo supports USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, and AUD as the organization currency. You can set one currency for your account; all proposals, invoices, and reports render in it. Stripe handles cross-currency settlement on the payment side, your US Stripe account can accept EUR card payments from a European client at the prevailing rate.
Will my consulting clients see any "powered by Scopivo" branding?
No, not on proposals, contracts, invoices, or the portal. The documents and portal carry only your brand. Outbound emails do include a small "sent by [your firm] via Scopivo" attribution for deliverability (industry standard for transactional email), but the documents themselves are 100% yours.
What does the free year actually let me do?
1 active client, 1 active project, 3 invoices per month, 1 contract template, 1 proposal template, client portal, e-signatures, Stripe payments, email reminders. Can my partner or junior consultant share my account?
Not today. Scopivo is single-user per account; multi-user is on our roadmap but not shipped yet. Solo consultants and one-person advisory practices are the fit today. If you currently work with a partner or have a junior consultant who needs their own login, wait for our multi-user release.
